Cat Rescue on Ice

Your good friend lost her cat and it is up to you to find it. Traverse dangerous platforms and find power ups so you can continue to the top where the lost feline lives.

Entry for MiniJam 145 - Frozen. Inconvenient Superpowers require significant backtracking to obtain to make it further up the ice flows.

Controls:

Left / Right:  Arrow Keys,   A / D , S / F

Jump: Space  -- Holding Space will make you jump higher

Dash: Shift -- Power up required to unlock dashing

Best played with controller.

Dev Note:

This was my first jam and first game. Had a ton of fun working through creating all of the movement mechanics. Learned a ton about pixel art and learned that sometimes the best (only one available) sound effect generator is Windows Voice Recorder and your voice.
